A biodegradable stent is a medical scaffold that supports a blood vessel for a set period and then degrades and disappears. Compared with conventional metal or single-polymer PLA stents, it can reduce thrombosis and inflammation and significantly lower the risk of reoperation .
Using its patented composite compositions, FINT KOREA forms tubing for coronary and peripheral vascular stents, laser-cuts it into stents, and supplies materials and semi-finished products to medical device manufacturers. Patient-specific custom devices are also possible.
