Technology that turns materials
into medical devices
Turning a good material into a medical device takes forming, processing and an understanding of how it behaves in the body. FINT KOREA extrudes and forms biodegradable composites into tubing and laser-cuts it into stents, and develops absorbable hemostatic materials that stop bleeding from bone and tissue.
Our goal is to reduce the thrombosis and inflammation side effects and reoperation risk of conventional metal and single-polymer PLA stents. We run a pilot production line in the cleanroom at the KIMIRo support center in Cheomdan, Gwangju.
